We are looking for a temporary communications/marketing coordinator to join our team.
What you’ll be responsible for...
Managing, maintaining and continuing to build and increase engagement on the company’s social media channels (currently a private Facebook group, Facebook business page, Instagram, and Twitter).
Manage and maintain company website - which includes updating content, adding/deleting pages, and pitching new ideas to increase brand awareness/gain new crew members.
Monitor the company in the news and in other outlets to see what traction the company is receiving.
Monitor relevant yoga news and stay abreast of what’s happening in the yoga community.
Pitch, create, and write relevant, interesting content to help our followers achieve their goals.
Other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for
The drive to succeed and a willingness to learn in all things communications/marketing.
You will be able to work from anywhere, so you must be a fast learner and be able to work independently.
Experience managing social media pages (whether personal or other businesses).
Someone who is willing to research to figure out how to solve a problem. We love self-starters and people who are driven. I mean, our company name says it all.
A great personality and sense of humor! We like to have fun at The Driven Yogi - no sense of humor, no need to apply.
Someone who is willing to take chances and try new methods. We don’t like to stay stagnant and want someone with creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
Who this role is perfect for
This is an entry level role and perfect for a college student or someone transitioning careers. We are willing to train the right person, but want you to have some basic knowledge of social media marketing and updating websites (Squarespace experience preferred!).

This is a four month, entry level position which will go from September - December. A stipend amount of $600-$800 will given for the entire project depending on experience.
